THE FOUR SEASONS RESORT MALDIVES AT KUDA HURAA***** BECOMES DISTRIBUTOR OF GAIORA´S HANDCRAFTED CLUTCHES
Since November 2018, Gaïora is proud to count the luxurious Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa, among its partners.
The prestigious establishment was seduced by our approach to fair trade, and contacted us to distribute some of our products in their resort shop.
Their choice focused initially on our hand embroidered pouches, handmade by our artisans in Northern Thailand, the Thai Artisans. Each embroidered pouch sold at the Four Seasons Maldives Resort at Kuda Huraa is unique and carefully crafted in Chiang Mai Thai Artisans' workshops.
It is this fair approach that has seduced the prestigious establishment: at Gaïora, we are committed to preserving ancestral manufacturing techniques as well as traditional designs specific to the Hmong, Karen or Aka communities of Northern Thailand.
The Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa is certainly a luxury hotel, but its architecture blends in perfectly with the natural and fabulous environment of the Maldives. The villas are reminiscent of local Maldivian homes, made of natural wood and with a thatched roof. This is the first of two Group establishments to have settled in this archipelago of the Indian Ocean. With its 96 suites and villas, all overlooking a beautiful infinity pool where beautiful shades of blue intermingle, the Four Seasons Kuda Huraa is ideal for families seeking calm and pure pleasure.
The hotel is only a 25-minute boat ride from Malé Airport, making it an ideal location for holidaymakers who would also like to wander around the capital of the archipelago. It offers its guests a whole lot of high-end services: a superb SPA, a fitness center, yoga or paddle lessons on the private beach of the resort, a child club, a bar, a tennis court ...
The resort has 4 poolside restaurants, including the Kandu Grill offering fresh fish, The Reef Club, an Italian restaurant serving excellent homemade pasta, and the award-winning Baraabaru Restaurant, offering à la carte local specialties and Indian to die for.
The "Children's Club", which welcomes children from 4 to 12 years old, even offers creative workshops introducing our darlings to Maldivian local craftsmanship.
